In 2015–2016, MKT delivered four modern cheese vats specifically designed for making blue cheese to Valio’s cheese dairy in Äänekoski. With these new vats, the dairy managed to improve the quality of its cheese and reduce wastage.

The established history of cooperation between MKT and the Finnish dairy company Valio was extended in 2014 with MKT supplying Valio’s Seinäjoki plant with two new cheese vats and washing tanks for the production of cottage cheese.

In the spring of 2017, the Valio Äänekoski cheese dairy started its ultrasonic era: The ultrasonic washer manufactured by MKT is used to clean the moulds and salting boxes used for producing the world famous AURA blue cheese.
